FCC Meeting
16th Feb
Matchday Atmosphere
- LCFC feel that the three singing sections have proved successful in terms of demand and noise
- LCFC stated that the singing sections did come with anticipated challenges around increased stewarding and some blocking of aisles which did improve at the most recent trial
- The club expressed the importance of keeping the momentum going on this issue
- LCFC recognised that dedicated sections allow like-minded people to gather together and that this could help to offer greater choice for supporters
- Further investigation is required to gauge demand
Goal Music
- LCFC feel that goal music has improved the supporter experience
Safe Standing
- LCFC intend to engage with supporters once they have visited other clubs with rail seating to gather feedback
- LCFC re-emphasised the importance of choice in relation to standing, and providing options for those who wish to stand and those who prefer not to
- The club acknowledged that safe-standing ought to be viewed as going hand-in-hand with any permanent future singing section.
Ticketing
- The staff/players were allocated 290 in total for the fixture vs Nottingham Forest
- Supporters attending raised the importance of transparency on matters such as the FA Cup Final, Napoli buses and the change in process for ticket refunds vs gift vouchers
- The club did apologise for this and stated that they need to be more transparent
Ticket pricing:
- There is likely going to be an increase in season ticket prices due to the rise in the cost of living
- LCFC said that fans would be consulted and input welcome
